Ham steaks are heat “N” eat, they are cured/cooked already. Unless you are talking raw pork steaks, then thuroughly cook it.

I don't think Irving meant 'brown' like that. Am I wrong?
My airstream has been stolen by dopers
That's what I was thinking.
More like, how far turned does it have to be before you'd eat it?

My Feedback
Credit TFOGGER : Liberals only want things to be "fair and just" if it benefits them.
Credit Zundfolge: The left only supports two "rights"; Buggery and Infanticide.
Credit roberth: List of things Government does best; 1. Steal your money 2. Steal your time 3. Waste the money they stole from you. 4. Waste your time making you ask permission for things you have a natural right to own. "Anyone that thinks the communists won't turn off your power for being on COAR15 is a fucking moron."
As far as the ham steak question, as long as you serve it to your guest then there?s no limit on the brown.
Now, if you are planning on eating it yourself then obviously you need to draw a line somewhere.
I feel the same way about parties.

I got ham steak 3-pack and froze two when I got home. I just pulled the last one out of the freezer and it's more brown than pink.

To me, it's just not worth it.
I do throw freezer burned and old stuff out that has been in from 3 months to a year, depending on the the food.
