I thought I was being funny and I told her, "Hey hun, smell this!" and I popped that tupperware open and took a big whiff and had the same reaction as you did.
That’s funnier, because it was a prank!

Prepping rifle brass sucks balls. I sized, deprimed, and trimmed something like 160 cases, then prepped (debur, chamfer neck and primer pocket, clean primer pocket) another 100 or so, and it took me something like two hours. Every thing I have is powered! Granted not great, but still better than manual. I've got an RCBS Trim Pro 2 hooked up to a drill, and that RCBS power mate or whatever with the five stations to debur and chamfer. Next time I'm rich, I'm probably going to look into some faster solutions. Heck, I haven't even started on .308 and .300 blk yet.

Well, she was probably never going to take a sniff since she knew better (and can't do smells at all compared to me), but after I about ended up doubled over just trying to be funny, she sure wasn't going to try.

I mis-read, thought you made your bride retch. Now it’s even funnier!

Look into wet tumbling your brass, no need to clean primer pockets...

But yes, fully processing rifle brass that has to be trimmed as well sucks (one of the reasons I am making the jump to 1050's, it can handle a bunch of steps just by pulling the handle).

Tumbling is my first step, so unless wet tumbling cleans the pockets with the primer in place, it wouldn't matter. I never clean pistol primer pockets, but since I've already got the machine on, and the primer brush is one inch from the swager, I've been doing it.
