Canned hunt at Rocky Mountain Roosters.

Buddy has a membership, I have to pay my gun fee.

His oldest son didn't show up (sick) so 3 of us had 20 birds to find. 18 there, we lost one over a fence onto private property. 19/20 is the best we've ever done. I lost count but think I downed 6 roosters and 2 hens and had the highest count.

It was a shooting gallery and I was on, though I did actually miss my first shot. Had the gun (SBEII) for years now and had my first foul up that cost me a miss. Stove piped a loaded shell.

19/20 isn't bad at all, Those look decent size too.

But our secretary (temporary boss) shoved another job down our throats "so we wouldn't be standing around all afternoon". ? …..Dickhead. We knocked the shit out of it in 45 minutes.

On a side note, I also didn't realize Grocers and convenient stores would be selling full strength after Jan 1.

That, I was aware of. Some store proprietors that expressed concerns about that to me through discussion, were unhappy about it.... naturally. It didn't take much explanation to remind them most folks are still going to go to the liquor store for their purchases. Going to the grocery store is usually a pain in the ass for most folks anyways, nobody's going there to buy their liquor there unless it's that once a week trip or every other week (however you do it), so it doesn't matter.
