    Yep, good point.
I was getting ready for a garage sale, and was recalling that I used to go to the flea market on Federal north of I-70 on the week-ends when I got out of the service in the early 70's.
I would sell the lamps I made in my spare time while back in college.
Firearms were on display, for sale, and traded just like any other item being sold.
My little view of the world has changed substantially since then.
There isn't a garage sale down here where you can't find at least 1 or 2 guns on tables.

Last sale, i looked at an old model 59 smith. Ask the guy, how much?

Oh that's worth $700 as it's illegal now to make guns that take 15 round magazines .

ARE YOU HIGH? Who told you that line of crap? Needless to say he turned down my offer of $250.

Sad thing is . He was as serious as a heart attack, guns were no longer being made that took double stack mags.
They only make guns that take 7 rounds or less

We tell people. if you don't make us an offer and buy something. It's going to the thrift store donation bin in the morning.

As for who it gets donated to. FUCK GW. They've become the over retail price thrift store, with no more making offers on items. Hey you do anything on this clothing? Sorry, everything is price set by corporate . Bar codes and the like.

That's why I listed ARC first. Goodwill is convenient for drop-offs.

I was looking up information regarding laundering Old Glory, and I had never heard of this:

    Cleaning Cotton Flags

Natural fiber flags such as cotton and wool should be handled with greater care. We suggest spot cleaning or dry-cleaning. Please contact your local dry cleaners for their recommendation. A majority of dry-cleaners will dry-clean a U.S. flag at no charge.
The one you have looks like one of my nylon flags.
