Thanx, I can't take the credit though, It was line my stepdad use to say. He was a navigator on a B-17 that was shot down, and spent over a year in stalug Luft iii. He passed away in 06. He was one class act. I've come to respect that quote more and more each day...RIP Major Robert D Fulkerson.

What other smart things did he say?

One of my uncles flew on B17s during WWII too, I don't know anymore than that.

Just fyi, if you hvaen't seen them yet, try the canned KC Masterpiece Applewood Smoked Bacon Baked Beans. They're delicious, much better than their other canned beans! I think its that the can is packed with beans, whereas most other baked beans are half liquid/sauce half beans.

And if you ever have a chance to buy it, either in a grocery store or are in Kansas City, Jack Fiorella's "Jack Stack" BBQ is by far, the BEST BBQ in the world. At the very least, in KC.

I'm running low on my stock of their Spicy BBQ sauce... might need to make a trip home to see the family soon. Or at the very least, convince them to ship me some bottles.

I'm already attempting to have them import some Boulevard Beer down here for my wedding. I figure 5-10 cases outta be enough for me to have a nice supply for a few months. Probably need another 5 cases for the wedding reception too...

He was a wealth of information, he was however pretty disgust with the direction the country was heading towards the end . He also served as a delegate for Reagan twice. Stories he had were amazing. Kudos to your uncle also!
