Oh crap! I forgot to offset the radius of the earth at 30k ft, I calculated it at the 34th parallel (very crudely of course) on the ground. If I really wanted to give you a correct answer, I'd get it spot on, but I'm too lazy for that. Maybe I'll save this question and do it on my next work shift.

Knowing what the circumference is 30,000 feet up, let alone accounting for the climb and descent is where I quickly get lost.
