I've thought about a pellet gun, but they produce a pop which is still rather loud. Cutting the power would require that I go into their yard. We put up a 6ft tall chicken wire fence to keep our dogs (mine mostly) from jumping over the wall and we planted some honeysuckles along the wall to grow up the fence. Its working, but taking quite a while to fill out enough to block out the light.

Thats the thing, our house/property are a good 4-6ft higher than theirs. So at 4ft, looking perfectly level, the lights are 1-2ft higher than the wall. Its kind of hard to explain.

Anyways, a squirt gun would work. When light bulbs get hot, a nice burst of cold water shatters them. Or so I found out accidentally years ago with my bedside reading light when I spilled a glass of water.

Tell them u and the Mrs are going out of town. And just keep am eye on house. Sneak back @ 2am use pellet gun to break lights.

Just tape/glue something up really close to the light that will block it from your windows.

I like the idea of a much bright light, I have been meaning to install some floods for our backyard because we only have 1 dinky light and it leaves both sides of our yard dark.
