I have a very hard time when people don't take my advice as a SME. I went to a meeting (with an elephant at the head) and an eagle said something that was wrong. The implications of their wrong-ness would affect the forward motion of a constellation, and not a small one.....so I had to speak up.
I told these people a week ago their system was too full. NOW it stopped (as designed) @ >98% and they want it cleaned up and restarted tonight (test system.)
Hint: If you increase storage on your production system to accomodate growth and then try to copy that data to a test system that WASN'T UPGRADED, you will run out of space.

If they would just buy the new system and SAN we spec'd 6 months ago, this would not be an issue.
