BFG AT's kinda sucked for me, too squishy, low lifetime. I like that the Rugged Terrain actually have a 50K warranty on them. They've been a great HD tire, decent in the winter, and are OK for occasional light off road use. Probably not well suited to a light truck/SUV.

I've had pretty good luck/life with BFG Long Trail on the 99 Yukon. Couldn't swing the usual Michelins right before vacation a few years back. Costco had to order them in, but they were only ~$125 per, installed. 245/75 R16, E rated.Mine are small. 285/85/17 BFG Rugged Terrain Load Range E.

Not an off-road tire by any means, but have been decent in the snow and not noisy.
