Mrs. HB is half french. Her mom is 2nd generation French immigrant, her dad is 2nd generation German immigrant. Interesting story about how their families made it here.

In any case, she may have some frenchie blood, but she is 100% AMERICAN!

French pastries are good. I like them but my waist line doesn't, neither do my pants and belt. Time to get back on the treadmill and work off some of the holidays.

Why is everyone always so shitty toward France anyway? If the worst thing France has ever done is be overrun by the Nazi's then everyone that constantly pokes at France just comes off sounding like a dumb asshole.

There is a reason they have a well-known reputation among most 1st world countries for fighting like a bunch of pussies and surrendering at the first opportunity...

Also, have you ever met anyone from France? They are generally not very friendly and very snobbish about the uncivilized way that others do things (cooking is a prime example here).

Is that an issue with their ROE though? I can't imagine that French individuals are any less brave than anyone else.

And they seem to have a prohibition to regular bathing. I trained with some Legionaries in Tahiti in the 1980's and when we "nasty Americans" came out of the bush we showered and then went down in town for beer, not them. They went straight for the bars, mud, smell and all.

No. definitely not an ROE thing. This goes back to the late 1800's as far as I know.

I upped my TAPS date to next month, and maybe then I could get a little closer to building a good resume/cover sheet.
