    I decided a few years ago that I'm not cut out to make big money inside an organization, and probably wouldn't want the associated workload anyway. So I've accepted that it is up to me to make my own money. Helps relieve a little stress, but not all of it.

    You'll get more stress being self employed. BUT knowing you are your own boss makes it easier. I had $70K ~ years , then $25K. Like anything else if one makes contingency plans for the lean times it smooths out the bumps.
    Sometimes you have to go for it. You're marketable, it doesn't pan out in 3-5 years go back .

    We might be looking a 100 unit property down in the springs next month. That could turn out to be lucrative as well. Talking to Wulf and Chunky the other weekend got me back into high gear for my side business and I made the phone call I needed to. Hoping to get that going soon, as I've got renewed enthusiasm as I'm fleshing out my business plan, so to speak.
