Thanks everyone. I realize that it's two hours each way and that's a lot of Irving to deal with.

    Irving,

I'm going to break two cardinal rules and offer you the use of my 3/4T Diesel if you wanna hoof it down to Parker.

Rule 1. Don't let anyone else drive my truck (there are currently 3 exceptions for emergency use).
Rule 2. No good deed goes unpunished.

Of course standard rules apply. You break it, you buy it (less known issues of which there is only 1)

I tow 16K with it, so I think it'll handle your bumper pull. It's bagged but you'll still need that WD/sway hitch.

I have the bars for the WD hitch and the ball stored at the trailer itself. Do you already have a WD hitch?

Let me make sure everything is ready before I jump on offers, but I very much appreciate it.

Always wondered how you take turns with those setups. Swing wide at the beginning and pray?

Am east of 470 on 56th headed East, sitting here wondering what sort of stupid shit is going on in front of me and why the traffic has stopped.

Sure hope these morons don't get me stranded.

Bars are very much unique to the hitch brand.

I do have a Fastway 2-point WD hitch I used to pull my boat behind my old fifth wheel, but I'd need to take the brackets off the boat trailer and it would need to be setup properly on yours.

The WD hitch head should just be a head attached to a receiver drop hitch that slides into the receiver.

Do you have any pics or details of what you have?

Here's a fastway for reference. Similar to an Equal-i-zer 4-point. The fastway bars just pop into the head, the EQ 4-point bars are held in with bolts that apply pressure to help more with sway control. Either one also applies enough pressure at the bar to bracket joint to help reduce some sway, but the 2-point isn't significant.

    Double pull?

Easy peasy, the rear swings out a bit and the boat follows. Think truck pulling trailer, trailer pulling boat.

Swing wide, sure, but no praying necessary. In fact, it's more likely to clip someone in the next lane if it's too tight, than to curb it. That actually happened once with my 2 place jetski trailer turning from Crowfoot Valley Rd to Founders pkwy.

The guys pulling the monster 40+ rigs have more to worry about with their tail swing than my little double tow.

Thanks for the reminder. This is what I have. I'm going to drive out there and make sure that I've got everything. I'm pretty sure I pulled that off the truck before we left and stored at the trailer.

BTW, setting one of these up for permanent use should include a trip to the scales, but can be done in the field without.

Just measure the front and rear fender to tire gap on the truck, get the hitch-trailer setup level, and try to get it back to a similar wheel gap after hooking up and putting the bars on. If you bend a bar or bracket, you probably overdid it or need a bigger hitch. :-)

Since I have bags, I'd air those down while setting up the hitch, then air them back up just to firm the rear up a bit (since I don't have the 3500 overload springs).

That said, I really need to order the onboard air system for my bags so I don't have to use the bicycle pump.
