How's the plastic bits holding up? That's been a problem with my 2003. Switches, visor clips, barely used cupholders.
And the TC (lockup issues) - though I'm mildly chipped.
And the turbos (see above) It now has K04's.
    And the valve chain adjusters
    And the valve cover gaskets/seals
And the turbo oil seals (but see above)
And the CV's (normal wear item) Although I've had boots rot with the joint being fine.

Lots of other wear items but many came earlier in its 15 year life.

That said, I still love driving the car. Well, except for the Brake-Throttle Death Lag (it's a thing if you two foot it like I do).

Honestly, now that I think about it, for a 15 year old car it's holding up surprisingly well and still looks good too. However, it's got less than 100K on the clock and is garaged.

So the real question is, batter dipped or breaded style chicken fried steak? Yeah I know some people consider one country fried the other chicken fried, but there's enough people/restaurants that mix the two.

I do like the jalapeno white gravy you get at Black Eyed Pea though, that's damn good stuff.

Its a 2011 so its ok for those items. The boots on cv joints look good. Previous owner just did shocks, brakes tires and rims. Also the pistons and rings were changed last year due to the oil consumption issue. But I just noticed oil on one side of the engine and its probably due to bad sealing application. Hope that the dealer will step up but so far its benign.
One thing I noticed is rust on the lower oil pan, but seeing as there is kits of pan and oil, it sounds like its common?

You are right, its a blast to drive and really comfortable.

Now I need to order a new dmf flywheel, and some other odds and bits.
Also thinking if I want to change the starter while it's accessible. Its pricey but it would be more so with trand back in.

Now I am pondering if I want an allroad A4 at some point in the next few years.
    Aren't card fun?

I know there have been multiple 4 banger issues over the years with the A4's. Early 2000 it was Audi not using full synthetic oil and smoking turbos and gumming up rings.

My A6 is a biturbo 2.7T, never seen anything but Mobil1 every 7-10K. The factory 2.7T is nearly bulletproof to around 400-425HP. Factory turbos not so much so I upgraded. With a hotter tune and some other go-fast parts, I could probably make close to 400HP but the stock trans won't take the torque.

I have a new set of wheels I bought off my son's S4 Avant that I need to get tires for and get mounted.

My A6 is a biturbo, never seen anything butt...
First time I saw that on the side of a car I looked @ my husband, winked & said... thought they just made 'em for homoturbos.

It was super funny @ the time, though I'm sure someone out there will have their feeling hurt by reading it.

GoT better not be as f*ing campy this week. Very disappointed with the season premiere last Sunday... or better yet I'll post this & find they didn't bother to air one on a holiday as they've done that before too.
