I've had one on my back for my last spinal surgery. The most irritating thing about it was the noise from the pump, IMO. No fluid ever was drawn through the vacuum line, but the incision healed amazingly well.

I don't know the name of the tissue donor of which I'm currently wearing an 6x7" patch. They won't/can't tell me & I don't really understand why. Anyooo... thinking about giving him a nickname.

Any suggestions?

HIPPA for the reason. Wonder if they ever asked the donors if they cared?

Looks like a trauma chest seal to me but I think they want to pressure graduate so I need a fancy device. Apparently they aren't inexpensive but do balance out costs over the long term.

Yeah I imagine I'm going to grow tired of the whirring pretty quickly. One of those suck it up moments Im sure. Its just noise & in trade Im thankful that I get to keep my leg.
