What should be a simple task of standing in the shower for ten minutes so I could just wash my hair & scrub down ... sounds like heaven. Im really looking forward to being able to do that again, in June hopefully.

Have you looked into a 'sleeve' for showering? I used one for months (2 separate cases) to cover the PICC line in my left bicep. Did a great job of keeping the area dry. I'll see if I can find one for the location in question.
