In the nearly twenty years we have lived out here we have never had snow on the ground this long.

Plenty of major snow events and blizzards over the years but never snow on the ground for nearly six weeks.

Our neighborhood streets are a hot mess. Ice 2-3-4 feet out from the gutter.

DougCo is usually good about coming around to clean up the ice, but it seems they're getting dogged. They only did a couple intersections Friday.

I was out of the country so our apron that's usually cleared is also pretty sad (though flat).

Been a while. Dry spinal tap jacked me up for 7 days...a new level of suck that I now am familiar with, and less severe headaches are also a daily occurrence. Basically constant. I think I'm visiting my fourth neurologist now.

I managed to be well enough however to get married with my gal.....so those of you who were really hoping to lure me into your life forever are officially out of luck.

Also, since it seems like shitting the bed is getting closer and closer, I finally got a toy that I've wanted since childhood and before my eventual demise. A cowboy shooter in 357 that will most likely fly out of my busted fuckin hands the first time I fire it.
