Hey, Ginsue. Long time no see. I (still) don't have much internet access down in Clovis, but I don't have much time, either. My short weeks are 50 hours, and I've done 70 regularly. Last couple months I've spent my free time out looking for a place worth buying. Took a little while, but I found it. It isn't ours yet, but we're working on it and if the last couple details go right we should have it NLT mid January. 44 acres in Ft. Sumner, and the southern border is in the middle of the Pecos river channel. 2700 sq ft house, 1.7 irrigated acres of alfalfa field, lots of great big trees, and the house faces south toward the river. The south side of the house is one full length covered patio. The kitchen needs remodeled, but that just means the wife can get it redone the way she wants it.

Fishing whenever I want to, shooting on my own property, and did I mention the Mulies/Whitetails/Wild Turkeys/Quail/Dove? Both times I was there to check out the property I saw multiple deer. Last time, my daughter went along the edge of the alfalfa field and picked up turkey feathers where they like to hang out. It's the nicest spot I've seen anywhere in that part of New Mexico. Of course, that has a lot to do with the GREEN and TREES. Not too much of that down in that area, most of the year.

Sounds like a real find there Trouble. It also sounds like it's prepped for the zombie-apocalypse with the field to grow food and all.

We really do miss you around here but it sounds like the dream job is keeping you plenty busy. Just don't let it burn you out.

No doubt, the job asks a lot. Hence the fishing/shooting/hunting on my own place. It's a nice, quiet little town. The kids have already picked the tree for the treehouse, too...

(Son of a gun if it doesn't overlook a prime deer area...almost like the perfect treestand. Hmmm....)
