With the legal pot in mind, I'm torn now. I think that states should have more rights, and less federal funding. Initially I was going to say that they should just stop getting federal funding, till I remembered that our state is doing something similar. Perhaps we should both stop getting Federal funding and do what we want.

More cities have a similar policy than you think. Denver for instance has a memo penned by Jerry Whitman. It basically states that ICE shall not be notified on arrest. You can see it on KHOW's website under Peter Boyles page.
