I know I'll probably ruffle a few feathers here but, here goes. First, really funny song. Listened to it twice and my sides are starting to hurt. [roll]

The unfortunate truth of the matter is though, that as funny as it is, when you put anything out on the web, it's there for all to see. Not just your friends and the good-ole-boys back home, but for every one. That is why in this new age of high speed telecommunications, that even our men and women on the front lines need to be causious of what they say, and where they say it. I can't begin to tell you of some of the stuff that came out of Viet Nam. WWII, I'm sure, had it's fair share of this same kind of morbid humor. It's this kind of humor that allows our people to live with what they experience in that pressure cooker of a situation over there. In the earlier wars, they could vent and cope all they wanted because what they said and sang really had no way of going beyond their little groups, so no one else knew about it. These days, what ever is said in the heat of the moment is splashed across the globe in a matter of seconds, and there is always some ultra left wing, tree huggin', 'let's all hold hands and sing kum-bay-ya' SOB who's just looking for an opportunity to sling mud on these brave people. That's just what has happened here, and as stupid and rediculus as this is, it is a cold hard fact that what we put on the I-Net can and will be used against us by our enemies, both foriegn and domestic.

I hope and pray that the lad only gets a repremand for this, but with this kind of publicity, I'm sure he'll get more than that. If nothing else, I hope at least, that this will serve as a warning to our brother's and sister's in arms, to not only watch your 6 in the field, but also on the net, because the enemy here is everywhere and can strike without warning. It's a cold hard world out here, and you have to beware.

This brave young Marine, God love 'em, just got shot right in the a$$ and he never saw it comming.
