Barrett has the cool factor and all, but with the EDM you could just tell the kids you have a Cheytac which is cooler... which, with EDM's new barrel shroud bipod system thing that eliminates their old receiver mount bipod, you basically do.
EDM breaks down easier and faster than the Barrett, and into a smaller package. Also more accurate. Sure, it doesn't have the rate of fire of a semi auto Barrett, but with .50BMG you'll only be able to shoot about as fast (accurately) as a bolt action with a skilled shooter behind it anyway... it ain't like you're gonna be trying to rapid fire it or anything (ok, that does sound kinda fun...). Not to mention its cheaper than a Barrett. Also, with the EDM you can get caliber conversions for .408 and .338LM, only takes a minute or so to swap the parts (barrel, bolt, magazine) and you've got a new rifle for a fraction of the cost (couple grand per kit... not cheap, but cheaper than a new rifle).
I vote Windrunner.
