    Default Cast Iron Cookware

I don't know about you guys but I love cast iron pans. I think it enhances the flavor or at least the sear. I'd like to get a dutch oven (no cracks Rico) to do some chuck wagon baking.

You mean they make it out of other stuff besides Iron?

While living in TN I'd visit the Lodge factory frequently on business... come home with that new griddle or flat I never knew I needed...

Cant beat Dutch oven cooking when camping !! When I was a Scout leader I got the boys attention when the adult staff was eating pot roast in Dutch ovens and they were doing beans and franks for supper. In a short time they were cooking breakfast and supper in Dutch ovens on every campout. Lodge makes the best cast iron cookware.

I always use my cast iron skillet at home and have four different kinds of dutch ovens to choose from when I camp. Biscuits by the fire in the dutch oven - YUM! Heavy as hell but OH so great to cook with.
