    A lock-step libertarian, no matter how much I agree with many of those principles, will not be elected.

    I can't speak for the L's. But if it came down to those two, the U.S. is more fare gone than I was hoping.

    I have a hard time with Ron Paul, just because I like a lot of what he stands for, but I don't like the fact that he has some conservative social beliefs and has voted so several times. I'm a pretty staunch libertarian, so anything like that bugs me, but I know that the chance of a pure L being elected is pretty much nil right now. So I guess my decision will just have to wait and see who the end candidates are, but if it was Obama vs Paul, I would go Paul
