Although he wasn't doing his work the teacher could have told him that if he wanted the flag hung then he would have to finish his work first. Then everybody would be happy but the teacher instead told him that it might offend other students! Give me a break if someone is offended by it then why are they in this country? Pride is part of being American and our flag is one of the ways to show it.

However, to say that the flag may offend another student is just play dumb! If offended by the US Flag please return to your country of origin, or if your ‘momma’ came here just to pop you out please return to her country of origin.
I say let’s investigate the citizenship of the offended pupil and parents and ship them back to wherever they came from!
Also give the teacher a slap for being stupid!

The flag thing is according to the father, that is what his son told him...
