Default My endorsement of a presidential candidate:

OK...there has been no official announcement yet. But my official endorsement for President of the United States goes to:

    Michele Bachman 2012
She's conservative and she wasn't born in Hawaii...or Kenya...or whatever. So the whole birth certificate thing can finally go away.

I've been following her for a while. She's got all the appeal of Sarah Palin without the baggage and "inexperienced" label. (NOTE: I really like Palin but the media has done a masterful job of destroying her, even in the minds of people who should know better)

Bachman is a strong supporter of:
    • The military
    • Gun owners
    • Lower taxes
    • Exploiting US energy sources and developing alternate energy sources
    • Business (she's a business owner)
    • Health care reform through tax incentives, HSAs and competition in the health care provider industry
    • Legal immigration and border security - not amnesty for illegals - and enforcing existing immigration laws
    • Reforming government spending and holding government accountable for $$ spent
I can find little, if anything, about her political views with which I disagree.

    And she's ELECTABLE.

    Michele Bachman on the Issues:

    Let the flaming begin.

+ did you notice how (R) women just look better than (D) women?

I do like her stand on things.

I like her other than her stance on social issues and education, so she's a pass from me

I like Bachman, but I wonder if she wouldn't be more effective where she is.

We all tend to over blow the power and influence of the President and forget that the house and senate are where the real evil happens.

At any rate, I'm not all that thrilled with the field so far but I'm liking Herman Cain too (and I can't tell you how happy I am that both Trump and Huckabee are out ... now if we could just get that fool Romney out and get Newt back to writing books and making documentaries).

And the first conservative to start whining about how we need Chris Christy needs to be kicked in the junk ... the man is a gun grabbing, big government lib ... just because the libs in NJ are UberLibs makes him look like a conservative.

bachmann isn't as electable as you think. they have started the destruction of her already, much as they did with palin, and it will only get worse if she starts to seriously run. i don't mind her but she has a lot of enemies and you know how libs can be. itll get ugly.

Yeah, but they'll do that with anybody. And, frankly, I think they'll be too busy with Newt to spend as much time on Bachman as they'd like. I think Bachman is very electable...she's already proven that in MN.

Herman Cain might be a fine choice, too. But the fact he was on the Federal Reserve Board and backed TARP has me a little worried. And his writings on his website sound good...but I'm not finding a lot of specifics and that bothers me. His "The Issues" page is nothing more than a mini essay on how people are tired of politicians and what he would do and who he would consult when making decisions. It doesn't have specifics and that bugs me.

You're endorsing someone this far out from the election? I don't know anything about Michele Bachman so I better read up.

The candidates are few and far between and all I've seen so far are people who will lose to Obama.

As far as the press goes they'll lie about anything to get another marxist in office. The press is just feeding the tyrant in the hopes they'll be lined up against the wall last.

I say shitcan all of the professional politicos. The 2 party system is broken beyond repair.

With that being said I like Bachmann, she sounds as a person of conviction.

Bachmann and Alan West- there would be a ticket!

At the risk of making the dirty minded giggle; which one on top?

Again, I like both, but honestly I think they are both more valuable where they are. Now is not the time to be diluting the power of the constitutional conservatives in the legislature.

Right on! I like the idea of a Bachman/West ticket. Perfect for setting west up for 8 years after Bachman's 8 years.
