I didn't get a chance to listen to Obozos entire speech but I heard enough to make me want to puke.
Calling on Israel to give up land such as the Golan Heights, Gaza Strip?
Backing Palestine.

Way to further give the weeny to the Israeli's.

Let's see, four Arab nations prepared to attack Israel and push the Jews into the Med. The Israelis launched a preemptive air attack and got in the first shot. In the six following days, little Israel kicked the crap out of the Arabs. As always happens in wars there, the UN allowed it to go on until it was clear Israel was going to win big, then they pressured for a ceasefire.

I say, if you lose territory in a war of aggression, you have it coming.

The point of holding the Golan Heights is as a buffer against future agression. The Golan Heights overlook rich Israeli farmland that can't be defended if Syrian tanks are looking down on you.

a better description of the Golan would be...

if we gave the foothills from Clear Creek Canyon to Boulder Canyon to the Taliban. They would have high ground to shell into Denver.

Also Israels water supply is the Jordan and numerous smaller streams. These originate at Mt Hermon and the that vacinity in the Golan.

Haveing been there numerous times, I can tell you that it would never work for Israel.

Also there are actually no pre 1967 borders that are binding. The land never belong to Jordan. They were occupying the land since 1948. But, they had no legal right to do so. So, when Israel kick the Jordanians out in 67, it was as much theirs too keep, as it was Jordans.
