Geocaching? You know, that thing you do with GPS looking for hidden "treasure"
My determination to not strike the first blow, but also to not stand mute and allow myself, and all that I believe in and stand for, to be trampled by men who would deprive me of my God-given, or natural right to suit my own end.
Never done it but, want to try it!!

I have been into it off and on for a couple of years now.....it can get you to beautiful trails/places/landmarks you may have never known about......and kids (if you drag them along) have a lot of fun as well. Geocaching.com is a site I am a member of....check it out.Originally Posted by opie011

Sounds like fun!! My Aunt & Uncle do the metal detecter / gold digging etc. They have found some Huge gold nuggets!!
I have some of those in my pants! Heh, heh.....my girlfriend didnt think that was funny either....sorry.

I have tried it a couple of times. It is pretty fun...just haven't had tons of time to do it between work and school
I've done a little bit of it, but my GPS isn't great for it. My girlfriend has a nice one though, so I'm looking forward to doing it more this year!

We've got a few customers that are in to it (I work for MacVan) ... believe it or not there are guys that Geocache with USGS topo maps and compasses (and some of these guys can find a cache faster and easier than most GPS users).
I guess I need to pick up a GPS.

I went geocaching in seattle with a buddy, it was pretty cool.
if you're going hiking, you might as well geocache too
