Default Shooters Source Shotgun Challenge at Pikes Peak 2015

The match formerly known as the Pikes Peak Shotgun Challenge will be called the Shooters Source Shotgun Challenge at Pikes Peak. The Shooters Source has signed as the Title sponsor and we are pleased to partner with Jeremy again. Same 10 stage format as in 2014. Similar target count and similar diversity in stages and targets. Entry form will go up towards the end of the year.

A new front page has been made for 2015. Check it out here: http://www.pikespeak...k_Gun_Club.html

I'm trying to start a facebook page for the match as well, but... I've never done facebook and it's slow going.

Hey mike, will there still be the same four divisions? Tactical, pump, semi, and open?

Oh, also, for open, is there a requirement for a primer relief cut for speed loaders?

Yes speed loaders need the primer relief cut. I'm amazed that you could even find speed loaders that haven't had it done yet.

Actually, I haven't found any. I'm thinking I'm going to have to build my own. I'm deffiniely going to have to see some up close, to get them close. Docmedic, maybe I could link up with you at some point, and see how they work, what the relief cut needs to look like, and take some measurements.

When i was score keeping at the match, I saw some, but there wasn't time to get a closer look.

At the match, I even saw someone running some he had made out of PVC pipe.

I'm sorry, I missed this question. Too many different social medias for me to keep up with them all. There will be the same 3 divisions. Auto, Pump, Open.

Sorry I missed this as I just started a new job last month and things have been busy. I'm not the one you would like to talk to about speed loaders as I don't own any as I shoot either a Xrail or a Box fed mag. The person you want to get ahold of would be RTR on the forums.

There are only 3 Divisions for Shotgun: Auto, Pump, Open.

Primer relief cuts are required, and honestly, you should probably buy them. They are not that expensive in the grand scheme of things. At Novekse last year, I took 2 speedloaders from a shooter who had made his own, but not good enough. He ended up hand-loading for a stage and then borrowing loaders.
    Good Shooting, MarkCO
