Gosh dang UPS!

I ordered a BCM upper from BCM sunday and a BCM lower from G and R tactical monday, since BCM is not shipping lowers till they get caught up. The lower is sitting at the gun store waiting on me to come in tomorrow (shipped UPS ground). The upper was supposed to be here thursday but sat in commerce city all day, shipped to loveland last night and is still sitting there. They dont deliver ground on saturday so I wont have it until tuesday!!! I even asked if I could pick it up in loveland and they said no.

weird, i have never had ups say i can't pickup at the depot?

Used to be a warehouse manager.

Its odd that they won't let you pick it up. I know for a fact that they work on Saturdays. If I were you and if its a short drive, I'd just show up with the tracking number and make (polite) noise until someone helps you.

Anyway, in the shipping biz people liked to say "There's a reason they call them 'ups'"

More mistakes than fedex by far (USPS doesn't count, because no one in their right mind who does a lot of high-value shipping uses them except to go to APOs,)

Once lost $23,000 in inventory in the UPS system...poof, gone. Where is it? No idea, sorry. We'll refund you. In the meantime we had some pissed off customers and a lot of hard-to-get parts on backorder.

Sometimes they don't unload the truck until the next business day. They know its there, but in a truck, so you couldn't go poking around in a truck to get your stuff.

I've had the same issues with Fedex but in the Springs it arrives in the springs then goes to pueblo to be sorted then back here for delivery.

Approx 5 business days via UPS, versus 3 using Fedex Ground.
