    Default franken folder akms

hey guys here's my most recent ak build that's more or less finished i still need to find my front sight block pins and pin it, by the way mods if there's a finished builds section this would better go in then go ahead and move it if you like

i decided to see how decent of an ak i could build o the cheap. i used a 99 dollar centerfire barrel-less romy g kit, a 69 dollar arms of america non-chromed polish profile barrel, an ak builder polish underfolder flat and temporarily an american fcg from another ak till i get one another for it this one. all in all it cost me about right about 200 bucks as a buddy of mine (zteknik) gave me the polish trunnions and stock assembly. i used birchwood casey super blue on the receiver and barrel as a temporary finish untill i either finally get my park setup made or untill i lose patience and have bptactical blast and park it but it looks pretty darn good from 10 feet so i think it will do for now. hopefully the picture posts.

Looks like a real AK. Slightly beet up but will still work great I am sure! Great job... I havent moved on to AK builds yet. That is one of my future projects. I hope my first build looks as good as this one! Why did you go under fold instead of Side fold? Was that the parts you had on hand?

Slightly beat up is how aks looks best lol actually it looks pretty new in person so I need to beat it up more aks are addicting you can't just build one hehe but hey if you decide to build one I could lend you tools or you could come up for a build party.

I went with an underfolder cause that's what I had on hand and I didn't want to build yet another fixed stock cause I'm finishing up a fixed stock that I started at the same time as the folder. Also I am of the minority that loves underfolders. To me the polish under folder is solid and nice to shoot and I love how ufs look too, classic ak
