I had one and loved it. Unfortunately I decided to sell the barrel it was on and didn't feel like taking off the pinned and welded flash hider on the 14.5" barrel so I couldn't get the proprietary barrel nut off. So I just sold the handguard with the barrel as a unit.
Stick a detachable carry handle on there and see what you think...
There you go, great idea. See, thats why ridge gets paid the big bucks!!
