My determination to not strike the first blow, but also to not stand mute and allow myself, and all that I believe in and stand for, to be trampled by men who would deprive me of my God-given, or natural right to suit my own end.
Windy as hell up here in the Hills!! But I bought a brand new flag and I'm flying it proudly. I bought the hercules cloth this time. I to fly mine 365 days and it's holding up nicely.![]()
Thought it would be a great day to clean up some Lake City 1943 .30-06 brass. Made me wonder who the last person was to run it through a die some 68 years ago, who shot it, did they make it through the war...
Somehow, this brass is still soft, still had the primer pocket crimp, and sized easily enough that I'm sure it didn't go through a machine gun. Had to be a Garand or a 1903 Springfield.
Anyway, hats off to all that served and supported.
It's always a good time to remember that freedom isn't free but sometimes comes with a very high price.
