    Default cherry creek state park dog area

    anyone know if they are open today (memorial day)? i know the main park is closed.

    A little late, but I saw several people at the dog park. I also could have sworn I saw a line of cars about 3 miles long exciting the main park onto Parker road earlier. Holidays like this weekend are where the parks generate their biggest revenue.

    why would a state park be closed on a major holiday weekend ?
