I photoshopped up what I wanted and ordered it from him for my S&W 340M&P ... should be getting it any time now. I'll post actual photos when it gets here.

I just linked the big ass animated GIF file so it wouldn't slow anyone's machine too much.

I'm going to try it with the leather loops (they look pretty slick) ... but I may order a set of Crossbreed V-Clips for real deep concealment.

    Hey Byte,
Try going to : ksccw.com, and PM Insta, he goes by the same user name there. You may get a quicker response.
I have a few of his business cards if you want one.

Awesome leather work, very nice! I'd be interested in one for my XD40 Subcompact.

Ok, here's a couple pics and my mini review.

Based on the photoshoped pic I posted above, Insta was able to make a very nice IWB pancake holster.

The fit and finish are excellent and the boning fits the gun perfectly (not too tight, not too loose).

I've never been a fan of leather IWB loops (like those found on a Milt Sparks VMII) and have always preferred clips. While I still think I like clips better, these loops work well, they are very tight on my Beltman belt but while this makes putting the holster on a little more difficult, it does mean that it just simply does not move once you have it where you want it. At some point I'll probably replace the loops with clips, but I can certainly see the appeal to this style of loop. One possible improvement of the loops would to make them affix to the holster with snaps instead of chicago screws so you can unsnap them, wrap them around your belt and then resnap them instead of sliding them down the belt ... assuming that would work (although honestly with a regular belt and not this double thick Beltman belt I'd have never noticed the tightness issue).

This is my first tuckable holster (thankfully I don't work in an environment where I need to tuck my shirt in or wear a tie or anything like that). I found that this one works well ... since its the only one I've ever used I don't know if there are better or not, but I was able to easily tuck my shirt in behind the loops and then quickly untuck the shirt to draw.

Only small downside is that I think it should ride about half an inch higher, but its not so low that you can't draw it easily (its just low enough that on re-holstering the edge of your pants can get in the way). But since I did have him heavily modify one of his current designs, I can see where ride height would be a trial and error thing. I'd bet he has the ride height issues squared away nicely on his standard holsters.

Overall its a good, solid leather IWB holster that is well made and carries very nicely. One BIG advantage to dealing with Wililam's Gun Leather is that he didn't blink when I asked him to modify one of his standard designs ... a lot of holster makers aren't willing to do anything more custom than finish or maybe cant angle.

I have a holster with the snap loops.
on paper its a great theory until you get into the car or sit down at a restaurant and "POP-POP". Now you are "Unsnapped" heading to the men's room to fix it while your carry heads south.

its why I went to the Crossbreed website and got a set of clips for $10.
It might work for you, didn't work for me.

Well there you go then ... snap loops may not be a good idea afterall.

I haven't had any issues yet with snaps . however I can see the point . I would love to build a few with clips instead and I actually have been browsing the web looking a whole sale dealer .

I haven't posted in a while . Thought I would post up what i have been up to .

This is a set I made for my girlfriend for idpa .

left handed pancake for a s&w mountain gun . Built for a local customer

iwb for a walther ppk , built for a customer in s.e. kansas

new style iwb that I have been building lately and has become my edc rig .

This one was built for a customer locally who also is an instructor and csb fanatic . It is dual layer at the mouth on the front and back cause one handed reholstering was a must . He also shoots idpa with the very same rig .

couple of simple pancakes with natural finish and a new sealer im using that seems to work pretty good .
