It's "apple vs. evil", but you have to figure out how to work the apple? That's not what the young hip guy in the commercials says.

I've got an Intel Core Duo 20" iMac sitting on my desk at work. A lot of what I normally do on my $850 AMD Dual Core PC is really responsive but when I try the same thing on the $2200 iMac it's slower (who wants to wait a year for universal binaries?). I don't care about the flashy video effects. I had to ask a resident Mac-head how to copy a DVD with OSX Tiger. I don't know why I didn't think to go to the "Finder" and select ->Applications->Utilities->Disk Utility. I don't want to "think different". I just want to right click on the DVD and select "Duplicate". The iMac does run Windows XP pretty well.

I knew that would get a reponse. It is totally me not the product i have gurus to help me often though haha. I love the Mac but owned PC for a very long time. After you learn to do things PC way you do have to re-think the way you do it (which is why we should all raise our kids on Apples) mumbles something about the cult of apple under breath at this point

My introduction to computers was with Apple in high school. Set your kids up to be successful in the future. Train your kids with the best tool for business...a PC.

Apple has no concept of an enterprise view for support. They do look cute sitting on a desk at home.
