    Damn PayPal account got hacked. Got no money...

    Started the dispute process, but still...grr...

    I disputed things with my bank, and they just returned the funds (thankfully: I was overdrawn).

    I did report to PayPal too, so hopefully the douchebags that did it get caught

    Happen to me earlier this year, wasted some time, but they usually know right away it wasn't you.

    They fixed it, but I put my bank on notice and cancelled my credit card anyway...

    Paypal is something that people have learned to scam with like anything else. Never ever respond to an email sent to you by paypal by using the links provided in it because it is a scammer. Paypal always asks you to go to their site (without using links, because they don't send links) and sign in to resolve any problems you might have with your account or to access your information.

    Can't you go in and see what they bought or what account they transfered the money to? Also, you should take matters into your own hands and call the popo or the FBI, they have a cyber crime division.

    Yep, and I did report it to Paypal, and it shows who the money was transferred to, etc. I opened a fraud claim with them too
