    Default In the Springs, fluting....

Anyone in the Springs do barrel fluting?

I know Hickman rifles does but he had my action-ed barrel for over a month (for a two hour job he said) and still didn't get around to it. So I just went to go pick it up.

Anyone else in the Springs do that I can try? It's a 24inch (26ish w/action attached).

Fluting after the inside of the barrel has been finished is not a good idea.

Skip Otto in Grand Junction is one of the few in the US that does a good job of it. I dont even know if he is still taking work much less still alive.

Darn. Thanks for the heads up then. I'll leave her alone.
