    Default steamboat springs of granby?

the 18th is my first wedding anniversary and my wife and I want to get away for a short weekend. maybe stay saturday night somewhere.
I would like to do some fishing while we are up there. I know granby well and places to fish there, but don't know much about the lodging and need some recommendations.
We have camped on the lake up there and had a good time doing that. she is almost 6 months pregnant now, so I am kinda guessing camping is out of the question this time.
so other activities would be great as well. let me know what you guys have done or recommend.

as for steamboat, she would like to go there and I have stayed there a few times in a hotel and went to the hot springs there.
fishing would be nice as well. river or lake would be fine.
activities and lodging info would be nice as well!

any other places you guys can think of within 3 hours or so of denver would be nice as well.

We definitely want to get somewhere, at least 1 night on saturday, if not 2 on friday and saturday.

    thanks for the info!

We like to go to Estes Park every fall and stay in a cabin for a couple nights. We always go to Rock Mount Cottages, but they may be booked. Very nice cabins/cottages, but also very popular. http://www.rockmountcottages.com/ Don't know anything about Steamboat Springs.

How much do you want to spend? Fancy or casual lodging?

Steamboat is a long ass dregs haul, isnt it? Estes should'nt be too bad, cept for weekends getting up there with all the idiots and nuts that pass on a double yellow.

the Swiss Village, lodge (forgot) is sort of rustic woody, but new and clean. Ah, you missed the off season though.

Id go for those cabins if they aren't all booked.

we have actually stayed with them!

we have been to estes a lot and want to find something new to explore. pretty much something new within a few hour drive and nothing to terribly expensive. we have talked a little bit about what we want to do, but it will ultimately just fall on me to make the decisions and make it happen, so I am looking for any and all options!

Well, never stayed there, but there's a resort of some kind in Hot Sulphur Springs on US40, before you get to Kremmling. And there's a really nice unmanned public range just a few miles past there, between HSS and Parshall. http://www.hotsulphursprings.com/
