I gained 50 pounds, but at least I am not smoking anymore.

Anyway after 29 years of smoking it was tough to quit but it is possible. All I can say is just do it, stop now.
    Awesome! That's great Leif.

I'm on day 5 without any nicotine. I caught a nasty bug over the weekend and smoking cigarettes was next to impossible. So I figured that's as good as a time as any to stop. Last time I made it 4 months. I think if I can keep busy and stay clear of whiskey I'll be okay.

Should break his hoop say I'm sorry and walk away. Then drop kick the little fucker in the chest it might not help the urge to smoke, but it will be just as satisfying!!

    Congrats on quitting!

It's a bitch. I smoked for 19 years on and off. Started around 16. March 10th 2011 I had my last cigarette. Started chewing and gave that up in October of last year so I have been nicotine free for 8 months.

I quit for 2 years back in 2004 but started up again in 2006. It just took one drag off a girlfriends cigarette to get me back on the shit. I'd have half of one, then I bought a pack and it was all over.

After getting off the nicotine I started eating more. Had to make some dietary changes, Quit drinking 3-4 Cokes a day and gave up the super fatty food. Also started mountain biking again after taking a couple years off. Man it feels good to have lungs that work.

I haven't smoked in two days but have been using snus to knock down the nicotine cravings.
