    Quitting smoking is childs play compared to quitting chew.. omfg... day 4... it helps that I had wisdom teeth jerked out of my head this morning... but I WANT NICOTINE!

    I'm on day 2. Yeah, long ways to go. I'd be golden if everyone at work that I socialize with didn't smoke.

    That can't be an excuse though.

    I'm lucky. Smoking is frowned upon at my job. When I was smoking, I'd smoke on my lunch break and that's it. I'm actually a lot better off at work then I am at home. I used to smoke inside. Luckily my roommate has agreed to step outside from now on. Good luck to you!

    My wife smoked her last cigarette just after midnight on new years day 1989. She said, "That's it," and hasn't had one since. I don't recall her having a real hard time but she only smoke 2 or 3 a day so she wasn't a heavy smoker.

    If it helps, she did say after some time that food and drink tasted and smelled much better to her.

    Hang in there. You'll be glad you did.

    Monday was two weeks. There are hard days and days that are not to bad, but overall it is getting a little easier.
