I was thinking the same thing. No way in hell I would let that shit go. I am also extremely OCD with my truck...well the new one at least. the other would have just received some character and a story but that one is a 97.

good luck quitting smoking. my buddy is doing the same thing. he goes off and on but the gum usually helps him a lot so maybe look into that.
hope you make it man. I have never smoked a cigarette in my life, smoked a few cigars and never touched weed or any other drug so i consider myself quite lucky in that regard.

    hope you make it!

I'm on day two of no smoking. I've been smoking for 7 years. I stopped for 4 months once. Then my dad was in town visiting and when he left I got the biggest craving I've ever had. My folks don't know I smoke since I don't do it around them. So when he left, it felt like any other weekend when he'd be in town, light up as soon as he's out the driveway. That was almost 2 years ago and I hadn't attempted to quit since... Until yesterday. I ran out Sunday night before bed and just decided I wouldn't stop for a pack in the morning on the way to work. It's going okay I guess. I'm pretty irritable at home (I never would smoke at work due to the type of people I work with. Buncha smug assholes). Luckily I don't have a family or I'd probably be sleeping outside right now.

Good to know someone is going through the same thing right now.

All you guys quiting smoking, should have a get together to hand out food to the homeless. A bunch of grumpy conservatives crammed together with drugged out, drunk homeless people? That is an event I want to be at!

Best of luck bro. When I quit 7+ years ago, the worst part for me was all the crap I would hack in the mornings for a month or so straight. Then it seemed easy but add alcohol and the temptation is ridiculous.

I just think it would shed a positive light on giving up cigarettes.

Thanks so much for all the support guys, its good to know I have the support and glad to hear others are going through this at the same time, cfortune we are both on the same time frame with quitting yesterday but I smoked a pack+ a day for almost 29 years. I dont smoke in the house I would always go outside, and I dont drink at all anymore(quit that over 10 years ago cold turkey too, some people thought I had a "problem" so I needed to stop that) so I dont have to worry about being at a bar and having a craving at least.

Good idea with the home owners insurance, I may have to try that. This was my Audi too, and I just spent 4 hours yesterday waxing it and it was lookin so purdy. Little shit head kids...!
