Yeah, you've been smoking since before I was born lol. Best of luck to you. I did however smoke in the house and my roommate still smokes. I'm going to tell him tomorrow to start smoking outside though. I've spent the last two days packed up in my room avoiding the cravings.

I had the good idea to quit in Iraq. Nothing better to do I figured. Haven't had a cig in 2 1/2 years. If you need help try the Patch. I "quit" twice before with the nicotine gum but went back. The patch worked the best, but still needed some chewing gum for the first few weeks. Good luck, hope you meet your goal.
Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Haw haw haw?..
I quit for my son... stopped on 3/1/11

It took me 4 years before I quit the craving. After all that time I bought a pack, smoked one and got the worst headache ever. Threw the rest away and never smoked again. I used to work in an alcohol treatment center and those that talked about it said that quitting heroin is easier than nicotine. It is one of the most addictive substances there is. Good luck man.
Good luck to ya man--stick with it.
I've been smoking for 45 years now--I'm thinkin' of trying to quit again but I just really like to smoke.
I've tried quitting a few times in the past but the longest I ever lasted was about a week. After a few days I always felt that I went this long so one cigarette won't hurt--it does--next thing you know it's up to a pack + a day.
I have tried those patches but they're really tough to keep lit
