Tried... not enough there to have any effect. I (my body) is used to pretty big dips, usually around 3/4 to a full can a day between 3-5 dips or so.

So far so good today. It was strange driving to work without a smoke. Also strange not to go outside while here at work. Instead of getting away from my desk and smoking, I'm making a lap around the building.

I'm sneezing like crazy today. Is this normal? Or is there some sort of pollen or something in the air today?

Nice job J! It will get easier I promise

Today is week 7 for me! I am feeling better, the wife and I are trying to ride our bicycles 4 or 5 times a week so that makes me feel good that I am able to exercise a little now.

I used chantix to quit. It was the only way I could do it. Twice I had stopped for 6 - 8 months and it drove me back to smoking. I'm 3 years and a month quit now.

Day 5 and still going well! I almost chewed my own arm off the other night for a smoke though. It was on day 3 and I was told that day 3 was real difficult. I don't know about these damned nicotine patches though. They give me a buzz when I first put one on in the morning and I'm fidgeting around like a hamster on crack for most of the day. Going to lower the dosage starting Monday I think. They say to wear each stage for 6 weeks, but I think that is a load of crap to sell more.

This is the first weekend without, so I guess I'll see how that goes.

Keep it going J you WILL win this!. Keep with the patches they will help you out and will help you from eating so much and will help with keeping you busy so you dont gain to much weight. You use the first step for 4 weeks the second step for two weeks and the third step for two weeks. Then your home free.

Keep at it pal you WILL beat this nasty habit

I am almost at 8 weeks, Monday wil be 8 weeks so I am really feeling good and am actually pretty proud of myself
