Is there some law preventing carrying in a bank that I don't know about?

The title should be "Philadelphia Police say Fuck You to Laws".

I don't want to contribute to another cop bashing thread, but that is unconscionable.

The NRA supports but discourages open carry- the main reason: People see a gun on someones hip and it makes them "uneasy." I open carried once, and probably won't do it ever again, but since it was heading to an outdoor area to shoot I was dressed in a black windbreaker, BDU pants, my Tactical thigh holster with Glock inside, and a pair of combat boots one guy asked if I was Jeffco SWAT... He got a worried look on his face when I told him no.

Default Found the audio of the incident between Mark Fiorino and Philly PD

I don't want to turn this into a cop bashing thread, but at or near 4:00 on that audio the gun owner calmly (as he's been the entire time) says "If I'm under arrest I have nothing else to say to you without the presence of an attorney." To which one of the cops replies "STFU!" I have to say, cops that don't conduct themselves with a single shred of decency, courtesy and tact are just plain a**holes and if I was in this guy's position I would press charges against the SGT, the department and the city; you just don't treat people like that, especially if they're not threatening in any way.
