Okay so the book is not written by Jackson, but the audiobook is narrated by the awesome "angry black man" actor...

Anyway, we bought this book when it came out. Well now our daughter is old enough to read it. She dug it out of who knows where and read the first page to her cousin before they freaked out and came and told us. Ooops.

Ronin didn't make a very fitting title at the time. The only link Sam Jackson has to this book is that he read for the audio book. He didn't write it, or illustrate it. I don't know who would buy the audio version of an adults only children's book though.

Once again my story is thwarted by the outspoken politics of Samuel L Jackson. Starting to dislike that guy...

It's three years too late to be topical, but my four year old loves this book. Particularly the picture of the kid para-sailing when they should be asleep. We just say 'Go with the fork to sleep' when he insists we read it to him. Other fun books for small children with less salacious language: "All my friends are dead" and "Monsters eat whiny children".
Math is tough. Let's go shopping!
Played the Sam "I hate Whitey" Jackson version for my wife and 6 month old this morning.
Wife was mortified...... then she decided to post a link on her FB page because she liked it so much.
