That maybe the only solution to this situation.
Our babysitter is actually on the HOA board, (total right wing wholesome Christian) but I'm not so sure what they can do. But I will talk to her tomorrow about it. Just have to find a way to stay calm while expressing my emotions

Assuming you are not familiar with how a bulldozer operates, maybe you could rent one and if you happened to hop off of it with it in gear and it "accidentally" went through their home then they would be forced to move elsewhere.

    Hey, accidents happen.

Seems like you're making a pretty big deal over this. I don't like the smell of weed or cigarettes, but I know better than to think that a neighbor smoking it next door is going to hurt my kid. If you've actually seen smoke coming out of the sliding glass door, they must be smoking A LOT. I can at least understand your frustration.

Perhaps you can just suggest that they try using more edibles so you don't have to smell it. Or just act like adults and use cocaine instead.

I would also say to just go have a man to man with them. However, if that doesn't work you could always do something on your porch they won't like. I know I'm generalizing here but I would be willing to bet they wouldn't be too happy if you were out there dressing some game.

Since frags are NFA "Destrictive Devices" that sounds like an awful expensive solution (what with the $200 tax stamp per grenade) ... plus the ATF would probably come down on him for "transferring" an NFA item to another (who may be a "prohibited person" without the form 4.

    I'm so for that!!

Someone on here has a sig, " Violence may not be the best option... but it's still an option." (Colorado Luckydog) thanks

I may be a right wing nut but that's my right, just like his right to smoke IF he's got a BS "mj card" URGH I don't even know what point I'm trying to make I'm just so upset at the situation.

Some may say, why don't you just move dumbass.
I would have to say, well sir at my current economic situation, it's not that simple. I can't just up and move, especially with 3 kids. One who is starting their school life and am making friends. Where I live is an easy walk to the bus stop for me to go to work, which is Downtown Denver. We only have one truck to totally works out because I need to be close to "public transportation." The rent is fitting for what we get. Plus it's not in a "bad" part of town, besides dipshit next to us, or whatever, it's really a nice place to live. Mountain side is 30 mins away, the Republic of Boulder is 40 mins away. I can move "down the street" or wherever but if someone has a 3 bedroom 2.5 bath, 2 car attached garage for $1050 or similar PLEASE tell me I'll be more than happy to provide the necessary requirements for your place.

Form 4 req's if needed hahaha

Just go talk to them...and take munchies. Lots and lots of munchies.

I have no problem with people smoking cigs, pot or whatever. I just don't want to have to smell it.

    Good luck.

I have dealt with neighbor issues before for different reasons(dogs). It can turn to a PITA quickly.
Go talk to him in a considerate and mature manner. He may not even realize that his habit is affecting others and give him an opportunity to correct the situation. Document the conversation.
Document dates and times you notice the stank.
If he does not correct it or gets snotty then go to the HOA with a written complaint. More than likely there is an "Illegal activity" or "drug" prohibition in the by-laws. Document this and the HOA response.
If it turns out he is a MMJ cardholder it may complicate it a bit but you still have an edge. While he may have the right to use his "medicine" he does not have the right to be a nuisance to others when he "medicates". If you have to take this to a LE level have your ducks in a row and be able to show that you have taken "reasonable means" to address the situation. This is why you document everything.
If LE won't do anything as far as pursuing the Ganja angle then you need to push the Nuisance/Disturbing the Peace angle.

Most importantly keep your cool, never retaliate or threaten him. Neighbor issues are tough and it can become a "who can last the longest" situation.
You lose your cool, you lose your edge and credibility.
