    Default Should I be pissed...

...or do I have my time frame wrong? I've never purchased a gun online before, but I think it shouldn't take a month to get it. I ordered the gun on June 20th. They charged my card on the 23rd. Then we had to wait until my FFL guy faxed them a copy. They were suppsed to call him and give him, their fax number. Finally I found their number and had the FFL guy fax it on July 5th. I sent emails, and left phone messeges reminding them I needed it before July 15th. When I ordered it, they said they could get it here before our shoot.

On Wednesday I finally talked to him live and asked if they had shipped it yet. They said no, but they would overnight it, so I'd have it by tonight 5:00pm. Isn't 15 days enough to prepare my gun for shipment? And isn't receiving the FFL on Wednesday the 5th enough time to ship it here by the 15th? I honestly don't know if I'm being unreasonable. But it's 4:30 and still no call from my transfer guy.

    no you got screwed.
refuse shipment and send it back.
    dispute the charges with Visa.

don't put up with that crap.

    end of story.

That's the link to one of their auctions on Gunbroker. that's actually the gun I was buying, just not at that price. I went to their actual website and bought it. It was much cheaper that way. I'm a thrifty shopper.

It's two gunsmiths joining together to make 1 bigger nicer shop (or so they told me) They said the transition is kicking them in the ass. My thing is they were able to get to a computer on Monday to start new auctions, but they couldn't return my emails??? They have really good feedback on gunbroker, but maybe that's my problem. I bought it through their website, to get the better price. Maybe they take better care of the people who win their auctions, then they do people that buy off their site. They sure are nice on the phone and in their emails.....if you can catch them.

For good measure, here's their website link too.

The gun did show up on Monday. I like it, it's kinda evil looking with the squirrel stabber attached. Too bad their customer service sucks, and they didn;t get it here in time for the shoot Sat.
