Default NRA Basic Pistol Class July 16, 2011

I will be conducting an NRA Basic Pistol class in Colorado Springs on Saturday July 16. This is not a tactical class, but rather a Basic Pistol class.

This is a class for people who want or need live fire training. This course is 10 hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. Students learn NRA's rules for safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest position, and two handed standing positions; cleaning the pistol; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the NRA Guide to the Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, take a Basics of Pistol Shooting Student Examination, and course completion certificate.

This course meets Colorado's requirements for CCW training.

The course is normally $125, but if you tell me you saw this on the CO Ar-15 Forum, I will discount the price to $100.

For more information, please visit my website or call me.

I participated in this course and learned some new things. It was definitely worth the time and money spent. I even got to meet Tweety Bird. Lisa and Dan are both good people. I will be attending the NRA Basic Rifle class that they will be holding in September.

Thanks for the kind words; seems to me that you showed us thing or two, as well. This is a sport/hobby/business where the learning never stops.

It was nice to meet you.

    Jeff,
It was a pleasure having you in the class. You are an advanced shooter, and I'm afraid this class was awfully basic for you, but hopefully you still got something out of it.

I hope to see you at the Rifle class, and as always, the forum discount will apply.
