    Default Nikon Monarch 6-24X50 BDC

Anyone familiar with this scope? I put the Nikon Coyote Special on my Remington R15 and love the clarity and the BDC option.
I am thinking about going down this road for my .300 Win Mag. They are pretty expensive, so I was wondering if any of you have one or are familiar with it?

If not what do you use for your long range hunting rifle?

they are pretty nice scopes. probably the top one or two well known models for nikon. still, if it were me, and i know people are probably getting tired of hearing this, but id go with a vortex viper pst. in my opinion you just can't match them in that price range. youd have to spend upwards of $1200-1500 to find a scope that beats it imo. very clear, crisp clicks, great accuracy, phenomenal reputation and best of all they have a no questions asked customer service for life. they will replace or fix anything, even if you threw it against the wall. you don't even need a receipt or anything. if you want to spend less, just a regular vortex viper is plenty nice. the only major differences are no illumination and the turrets are much different, less tactical. but still very good. i used one until i switched to the pst.

either way though, the monarch is certainly nice. i don't know about their customer service, i haven't looked into it.
