Why the eff would you ruin a nice walk in the park whacking a ball with a crooked stick? And then being stupid and chasing after it.
And then when you are lucky enough to find it instead of putting it in your pocket and continuing your walk like a dumbass you hit it again with the crooked stick.

In 2007 the range on base was torn down to allow the golf course to get bigger.
