That many miles they have issues
If the plugs havent been changed for a while be prepared for a head job!!!
there known to strip out-helicoiling works for a bit but they allways loosen up
Get a 7.3 deisel instead-best motor Ford came out with in a truck!
    Best advice here.
Stay away from the V10s, they're crap even with no miles on em.
A truck, especially one that big, that isn't a diesel, is absolutely worthless and dumb. 6.0s suck, 6.4s are too expensive still to do anything fun with, 6.7s haven't been out for long enough. Look for a 7.3, best diesel engine every put in a passenger vehicle from any manufacturer. You can find em in any Powerstroke from 94-03... 94-98.5 is the old body style, 99 and up is what you want if you're looking for a Super Duty (but if you get a 99 make sure its a late-99 not an early one). 2003 was the transition year so only the early 03s have the 7.3 and they're few and far between, all the rest have 6.0s.
I'm inclined to point out though.... Ford DID NOT come out with the 7.3... there's a reason my truck has International badges on it

Its fun to be driving with someone, see something powered by an International 444E, and be able to tell them "my truck has the same engine as that school bus/dump truck, and I'm 1/5th their size."

Can you make money with the Beemer? I bet you can with the super duty... I own one with 240k and it still makes me money every day. Blackford also own's a v-10 and it's been a money maker as well. Take it from an owner instead of an outsider looking in, Take the trade.
I've put my SuperDuty through more abuse and bullshit than I could ever mention, they're great trucks if you maintain them. GM's and Dodges arent work trucks, they just look good. If you want a truck that can take the abuse, get a SuperDuty. I've owned all of the above in the past 5 years and Ford is the way to go.

Robs (blackford) still has a little giddy up even for being a V10 that weighs 8000+ lbs I personally would say it depends on you. Do you need the truck and it 12 mpg or is it kinda a WTH type thing.
I personally do not like the gasser am a diesel man at heart they do say that swapping a Cummins onto a ford is easier with the V10 built chassis and we all know that Cummins is the best there ever be....just for you mcantar!!!
You sir, are a specialist in the art of discovering a welcoming outcome of a particular situation....not a mechanic.

My feedback add 11-12 ish before the great servpocaylpse of 2012
